JEREZ - DAKAR, Route 2008

Morocco-Mauretanien-Senegal, on the foodsteps from Aeropostale and Air France

Bild Bild

We will begin our trip with Morocco – or “Maghreb el Aksa” as the Arab people call it – with its living traditions, its history going back to the year 1000 b.C. and its unique natural beauties.

From today’s point of view the border to the West Saharan region is of particular importance. We will over fly it to enter the “Republique Islamique de la Mauritanie”. From an ethnical as well as from a geographical viewpoint,  the inhabitants of Mauritania represent a transition from the “white” North Africa to the “black” West Africa.

After crossing the river Senegal, we will be in “black” Africa. And again, we will believe being on an other planet - have a look … (more under “Tour Program”).

A trip with many faces.

We will fly from the Rif to the Anti-Atlas mountain ranges, leaving deep narrow  valleys under our wings. We will  over fly oasis and the wide sand dune areas of the Sahara in Mauritania, and in Senegal the great landscapes of the savannahs and the national wildlife parks are awaiting us.

We will land at international airports as well as on remote bush strips.

Back on the ground we will discover the country on foot, with minibuses and off road vehicles.

We will sleep and eat mainly in selected 1* and 5* hotels and restaurants, depending on the leg’s destination. 5* hotels may not always be available but instead we’ll enjoy 5* experiences.

There will be time enough for relaxing and enjoying yourself, for individual excursions and exotic impressions.

To have everything running smoothly: for short waiting periods, the vehicles are ready for us at the airport, the fuel is available, the night security guard for the aircraft, the tables are set at the restaurant, the guide is waiting for us for sightseeing, the camels are saddled and the only thing YOU will have to do is fill in the immigration forms … for all this and more the “Fly-in-Spain” team takes care.
