JEREZ - DAKAR 2008

A special event: 

The first big Fly-in-Spain pilot trip: JEREZ – DAKAR 2008. 

Trough Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, following the track of the Aeropostale and Air France. 

A unique and unforgettable experience for all participants and pilots. 

Along 13 days we will discover North-West Africa with up to 15 aircraft (only PPL’s). Pure adventure!

You will get to know many faces of Africa.

From the bird’s view:

We will fly from the Rif to the Anti-Atlas mountain ranges and deep valleys in Morocco.

We will live the fascination of Mauritania’s oasis and sand dune areas, the savannah landscapes and national parks of Senegal.

We will land at international airports as well as on remote bush strips in the Sahara desert.

On the ground:

In Morocco we will start a journey between two worlds.

We will dive into the mysterious world of 1000 and 1 night , surrounded by the flair of strange Arab-oriental lifestyle – from the simplicity of day-to-day life to the palace sumptuosity.

From an ethnical point of view, the inhabitants of Mauritania are the link between  “white” North-Africa and “black” West-Africa.

For one day we will feel like pilots of the DAKAR Rally, driving off road vehicles trough the beautiful desert landscapes.

The national parks will be waiting for us in “colourful” black Africa, after crossing the Senegal river.
